Rip It! Card Collector Achievement Guide

Rip It! Card Collector has 25 Steam achievements, and most players unlock the bulk of them during a normal collection run. A handful take more planning, and one changed with a hotfix the day after launch. This achievement guide groups them by system and points out which ones are worth thinking about before you start a save.

How many achievements there are

The Steam listing for the full game, released on October 30, 2026, carries 25 achievements. Achievement trackers report a median completion time of a little over four hours. That makes the full set reachable in a few sessions rather than a long grind.

Early unlock rates vary between tracking sites because the game is only days old. Use them as a rough guide to difficulty, not as fixed numbers. The order below follows the systems you meet as you play.

Pack opening and binder achievements

Opened Your First Pack and Opened 100 packs come from simply ripping boosters. Casual Collector, Getting Closer and Binder Beater track how far your binder has progressed. Card Discarder rewards getting rid of cards you no longer need.

These unlock naturally if you keep filing new cards and selling duplicates. The complete card sets guide explains how card numbers map to binder pages. Following it keeps the collection milestones moving steadily.

Gadget and automation achievements

Gadget Greenie appears as you start spending Gadget Points. Rip Rig Rookie and Rip Rig Ruler follow the Rip Rig from its first use to a fully built machine. Binder Bot Beginner marks the start of automatic filing.

Upgrading the Rip Rig early speeds up every later achievement. The automation guide covers the Rip Rig and Binder Bot workflow. The gadget points guide explains how binder XP turns into GP for those upgrades.

Black Market and promo achievements

Black Market Baby is tied to the Black Market, where players hunt for cards they are missing. Promo Shopping unlocks when you buy a rare promo card. Promo Collector asks you to slot all nine promo cards into your collection.

Keep spare cash once the Black Market and promo cards open up. The promo cards guide explains where these cards come from and what is still unconfirmed. The black market guide covers how that shop fits the collection loop.

Defy the Odds and Hard mode

Defy the Odds is the rarest achievement on the early tracker lists. Hotfix 1.02 on October 31, 2026 added a difficulty select when you start the game, and the patch notes tie this achievement to Hard mode. Pick Hard mode on a fresh save if you want it.

Before that hotfix, the condition was beating the game with Bad Luck Protection turned off. The Defy the Odds guide on this wiki covers both versions in detail. Plan this one first, because it decides how you set up the whole run.

Suggested order for a full set

Choose your difficulty at the start, since that is the only choice you cannot fix later without a new save. Then put early Gadget Points into the Rip Rig so pack opening speeds up. The pack, binder and gadget achievements will follow while you collect.

Leave promo cards and the final binder milestones for the late game, once cash flow is steady. Cheat tables can force cards, but they make the collection achievements meaningless. The mods guide explains why to back up your save before trying any tool.
